Camping:
Fantastic camping abounds among the large pines situated right on the course, making for a wonderful place to bring the family and escape from the rush of the city. Overnight camping is first come, first serve and does not require reservations. There is ample campground space for RVs, campers, tents, dogs, and room to spread out. Water, hot showers, toilets, wash sinks are all included, however there is no electricity or hook ups.
Large RV’s and big trailers will park at the Boathouse parking area just before HQ on your left as you drive in, by the lake. All others will come up to HQ, where registration is with camp grounds south and west of HQ.
Come down and camp Friday night before the race, and stay Saturday night as well if you like.
Don’t forget your mosquito repellent. And if you bring your dog, please keep them on a leash and be sure to pick up after them.
Other Accommodations
If you’re not into camping, the BEST WESTERN Inn & Suites of Castle Rock Hotel is really nice. Hot Breakfast Buffet, Indoor pool and spa, Fitness Center, Business Center.
