Course Description

An approximately 20-mile loop is a combination of singletrack, double track and fire roads. The course borders Roxbourough State Prk, Waterton Canyon and the start of the Colorado Trail.  From the start at Roundup Ranch, a .8 mile section of paved road will lead to the Indian Creek Trailhead and the start of the racecourse.  Racers can stage supplies in the Pit Zone at the Trailhead where the course will loop through. Two Aid Stations will be set-up on course.

The race finish will be on the trail, and racers return to Roundup Ranch at their liesure.  Great camping, kids activities, post race dinner and awards ceremony will be at the quaint Roundup Ranch.

You may encounter other users wandering on course so please be aware and practice good sportsmanship so we can return here next year.

Feed Zone:

There will be an Aid Station every ten miles – stocked with Hammer Gels, fruit, cookies, bagels, and coolers of Hammer Heed and water.  In addition, there will be bottles ready to grab, so you can go light and go long.  The course will lap through the finish area where you can set up tents and stage food and equipment.
