Course Description:
This sprawling 22 mile course throws everything including the kitchen sink at you. It encompasses all of the 12 mile course from the PV Derby, plus an additional 10 miles of gently rolling double track ranch roads, flowing singletrack and wide open prairie pastureland. The course winds right through the campgrounds making for festive spectating.
If you haven’t raced at PV before, you’ll discover a delightful race course and wonderfully peaceful venue close to home, in the prairie grassland and pine forest of eastern Colorado.
The course winds through Bobcat Gulch and the low hills of the Black Forest, challenging racers with an entertaining array of flowy trail.
Feed Zone:
There will be Aid Stations stocked with Kate’s Real Food Bars, Hammer Gels, bananas, oranges, watermelon, Rudi’s Organic Bread and Justin’s PBJ’s and other treats. Aid Stations will also provide water bottles and jugs of Hammer Heed and water.
