Rocky Mountain Endurance is proud to again be partnering with Optimize Endurance Services, a Colorado-based coaching and physiology testing service. OES specializes in working with any type, age or ability of endurance athlete to help them achieve their goals. They offer services to improve the physiological, mental and nutritional aspects of sports performance, aiming to optimize their clients’ performance through structured, periodized training that fits into their lifestyle.
The 2015 RME Series Race training plan for sale is designed to guide anyone – from a relatively new mountain biker to the experienced rider – through competition in the complete series for 2015. A dedicated training plan for the marathon or half marathon can help prepare the racer for top performance at the finale of the B-100/B-68/B-32 weekend. OES provides these plans via TrainingPeaks (Peaksware), an on-line interface for coach and client with up load capabilities of training data for graphing as well as journaling and nutrition tracking.
Consider getting your Lactate tested in the OES Mobile testing lab. The Lactate Threshold test is determining the point at which the human body falls behind in buffering and struggles to stay efficient. Above this marker the production of byproducts far outpaces the removal and this leads toward the inability to continue increased intensity for extended periods of time. Knowing this point can assist in setting up training zones to optimize recovery as well as the Lactate Threshold. The graph below is a representation of the data received from the test.
